Sire: Hofrat
Hemmingway's sire Hofrat was Reserve Champion of his licensing, qualified for the Bundeschampionat multiple times, and became the 2002 Trakehner Champion of the year. Hofrat is by Gribaldi who produced Totilas. Gribaldi himself won his stallion licensing and was ridden by Edward Gal through GP. Hofrat's FN dressage index is 145, which places him in the top of German stallions today.
Dam: SPS/El Alsonara
Hemmingway's Dam SPS/El Alsonara was a 3rd generation States Premium/Elite mare by Archipel out of SPS Wilsonara/Weltmeyer out of SPS Suska/Shogun xx. Alsonara was a winning mare herself in Germany in the show ring. She was also in the Hertwart von der Decken-Schau, equivalent to the Brilliant Ring (Oldenburg) in Hannover, and her Dam Wilsonara was a Bundeschampionate! Alsonara scored 9's on her trot and Canter at her MPT.

Herzchampionate — Herzchampionate (Hemmingway OLD x Rio/Rotspon) won many classes, was 11th in the 4 yo Y/H National Championships, competed at 3rd level winning his dressage classes and also placed 3rd in his first Hunter class. He continues at Centenary College teaching young adults Dressage and H/J classes. Bred by Wendy Patterson.
How ya like Me Now (Ernie) — How ya like Me Now (Ernie) out of Raise your Hand xx, was a Premium foal and headed towards an Eventing career, bred by April Hays.
Hemmingway's Valentine — Hemmingway's Valentine bred by Terry Tunstall out of a Gotthard mare is lovely and has produced a beautiful colt by Rock Solid.
